Liberated from Fukuoka 9b (Miyata)
 
On the 1st of August 1943, the following men transferred from Osaka 1b pow camp to  Zentsuji pow camp [within the Osaka camp administration jurisdiction]. On the 13th of April, the camp changed jurisdiction and was put under the control of the Hiroshima administration and the camp was renamed Hiroshima 1b. On the 25th of June 1945 the men moved to Fukuoka 12-D where they remained until the end of the war. On the 15th of August Fukuoka 12-D was renamed Fukuoka 9b.
