Robert Widders

Page, Charles A. Sergeant. 2316934. Royal Signals
Sergeant Page died during the sinking of the Lisbon Maru. In 1946, Page was awarded a posthumous Military Medal in recognition of his ‘indefatigable devotion to duty on the Mainland [of Hong Kong] during the period 8 – 12 Dec. 1941’, where he maintained communications and prevented stores and equipment from falling into enemy hands.
